When you use Lifetime Fluency you provide us with information regarding your use of the Service collected by us as you interact with the Service.
When using our application, you can upload presentations and save audio recordings of your presentations. All voice recordings and presentation slides are stored locally on your mobile device. Presentation slides are never sent to Lifetime Fluency and we cannot view your slides. Voice recordings are only ever sent to Lifetime Fluency if the user specifically chooses to upload the speech to the Lifetime Fluency team to gain additional feedback.
Users can receive feedback on their speech within the app. For this feature, we use the IBM Watson Speech-to-Text tool. For more information on data IBM Watson collects, read their report here: IBM Data Responsibility Perspective for Watson Data and AI, and their whitepaper here: Watson AI Privacy, Compliance and Security.
We do not share your personal information with third-parties unless it is necessary to offer the Service or required by law.
We may use your email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Lifetime Fluency that we think you may find valuable. Lifetime Fluency may also send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the Service. Generally, you may opt out of such emails.
Users can receive feedback on their speech through the app. This feature is user enabled within the app. The app analyses audio of the users speech and displays feedback on areas such as pace of voice and hesitation words.
Lifetime Fluency may use or share aggregate or anonymous data collected through the Application for purposes such as understanding or improving the Application. This includes, for example, time in our VR app, time in specific virtual rooms, which online course modules are completed. This does not include any audio recordings or uploaded presentations.
We may be required to disclose personally-identifiable information in response to lawful requests, such as subpoenas or court orders, or in compliance with applicable laws. Additionally, we may share account or other personally-identifiable information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated through the Service or using the Lifetime Fluency name, or to prevent imminent harm. This may include sharing personally-identifiable information with other companies, lawyers, agents or government agencies.
